Three tenders of EGNATIA ODOS S.A. make several questions arise and raise suspicion that backstairs political and business games are being played.
These are three tenders in which the company AKTOR offered outrageous discounts; These tenders alone tell a lot about the company’s dubious activity.
Two days ago, AKTOR underbid in the tender for the connection of Egnatia Odos and Thessaloniki Port Authority, offering a rebate of 56,51%.
Yesterday, AKTOR bid with a 65.67% rebate for the project of maintenance and operation of the eastern sector and today also bid for the tender concerning the operation and maintenance of the western sector, offering again a 65.67% rebate.
At the current juncture, one would definitely wonder: What has changed today in the narrative of the Kallitsantsis brothers, who two years ago declared with confidence and certainty that they would go for high-profit projects? (Read the financial details here)
Since we are closely monitoring the financial statements, we are seeing an increase of €105 million in ELLAKTOR – an increase linked to the group’s claims in the construction industry.
Thus, we have to ask: What are these claims? Where does that €105 million come from? What is the responsibility of the four systemic banks – National Bank of Greece, Alpha Bank, Eurobank and Piraeus Bank – and what is the security they have received for the letters of guarantee they issue?
Attention – all this is going on while the rumors about the grim situation of Greek banks are rampant, as the country is on the brink of deep recession.
And the main question is: Has the government pledged something to the “National Contractors” brothers, of which we are not aware? What could the government have promised to the ELLAKTOR group? Is the prime minister aware of what is happening or are some people, that is, the alleged political acquaintances of the National Contractors brothers, playing games behind the back of Kyriakos Mitsotakis?
